Razer Inc., a provider of high-performance gaming hardware, software, and systems, is partnering with independent developer S2 Games, creator of titles such as Heroes of Newerth, on its upcoming multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, Strife.
To support the development and launch of the game, Carlsbad, Calif.-based Razer has outfitted S2’s team with Blade laptops, along with other peripheral products, to demo Strife. S2 will also be exploring development opportunities with Razer’s Switchblade User Interface and Surround software.
Strife will be the developer’s second MOBA title, and S2 will be the first company to come out with a second-iteration MOBA title.
Through the partnership, Razer will be providing exclusive beta access to fans through its social media pages (https://www.facebook.com/razer and https://twitter.com/Razer).
S2 is part of Razer’s Indie Development program, which aims to promote the gaming industry by offering a discounted price on new Razer Blade Pro Gaming Laptops.
