At Intel Developer Forum 2013 today, Google and Intel introduced a fresh, new lineup of Chromebooks using Intel processors based on the Haswell microarchitecture, including a lead design from HP, followed by systems from Acer, Toshiba and a Chromebox from ASUS. Just in time for the holidays, these newly designed Intel-based Chromebooks use less power while offering increased performance and amazing battery life. As one of the largest contributors to open source, Intel continues to work closely with Google to deliver Chromebooks that reflect Intel’s unique software strategy supporting multiple operating systems that run best on Intel architecture.
