VoIP phone system developer 3CX and telephony innovator snom have paired up to offer “a complete phone system solution.” The Windows VoIP PBX 3CX Phone System from 3CX is now available for use with snom phones.
The partnership between the two European technology companies merges PBX and IP phone technologies. “snom phones are easy to deploy, as they are fully supported for plug and play provisioning,” states a 3CX press release submitted to ChannelPro-SMB, “and all snom phone features, such as direct dial and call recording, are available with 3CX Phone System.”
“We are extremely pleased to announce this strategic new partnership, which enables us to offer our joint customers a more advanced unified communications solution that combines IP Phone and PBX technology,” says 3CX CEO Nick Galea. “This will benefit our customers and partners and enable 3CX to accelerate its growth.”
According to 3CX, the company will continue to focus on developing software aspects in tandem with snom, which “will focus on hardware,” to provide a unified communications solution. International sales and partner training will also be made available.
“Our snom desktop IP phone portfolio’s tight integration with the 3CX IP PBX platform delivers advanced VoIP solutions and offers value to SMBs,” says Dr. Michael Knieling, snom’s technology AG COO.”
