Tech Data Corporation today announced the addition of several new value-added services to the company’s Cisco Solutions Group offering, including Cisco’s Unified Computing Systems (UCS) B-Series blade servers and C-series rack servers. Included in the new offering are build-to-order configurations, increased system engineering support, forecasting and stocking capabilities, and customizable enablement programs. The Cisco UCS offering is available immediately to Tech Data’s channel of over 60,000 resellers in the United States.

Tech Data’s Cisco UCS offering enables resellers to reduce lead time, simplifies data center certification and authorization, and provides enhanced support. On average, resellers will see an 86% reduction in lead time for UCS B-Series configurations. Currently, Tech Data is assisting hundreds of partners via Momentum and The Cisco Solutions Center to accelerate their UCS practice to market. Tech Data has also added dedicated Cisco system engineers to accommodate these robust new offerings.
