Nimble Release Latest Version of Social Relationship Management Tool

The latest release improves contact profile displays, offers engagement “opportunities,” and enhances collaboration features.

Social relationship management solution provider Nimble has released the latest version of its flagship product.

Nimble enables social contact management by combining contacts with email and other popular social communication platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, HubSpot, MailChimp, and foursquare). Nimble enables SMBs to drive more revenue by achieving more efficient, effective, and authentic engagement.

The latest Nimble release was designed with customer engagement in mind. The company is calling the release “the first social selling platform that empowers companies to nurture their customers through social listening and engagement.”

“The core concept of sales hasn’t changed since the beginning of time; it’s just electronic and social now,” says Nimble CEO Jon Ferrara. “The power of social is that your customers are telling you about themselves and their needs. Now instead of sales people spending most of their time on non-selling activities, like researching customers and data entry, they can spend more time engaging customers. We empower businesses to talk to their hottest prospects, at the best time on the most effective communications channel for each customer.”

Among the improvements made to Nimble with the latest release are:

  • Discovery – Contact insight has been improved. A contact is now displayed with a dashboard to social data. Nimble automatically associates Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn profiles.
  • Engagement – Nimble now presents “opportunities” for engagement with contacts, including selected social notifications, birthdays, job changes, and upcoming tasks and meetings.
  • Collaboration – Teams can now be jointly linked to contacts and deals. With task notifications, teams are informed about assigned and reassigned duties, comments, and completion dates.

Nimble is free for standalone personal users. Business and multi-users can sign up for Nimble at $15 per user per month.
