Wyse, a cloud client computing provider, will soon offer a zero client based on the Wyse zero framework. Wyse Xenith 2 is designed for organizations of all size, purpose-built for Citrix XenDesktop.
The Wyse Xenith 2 requires no local oconfiguration or management and full AES 128 bit encryption encrypts network certificates on the client for a secure experience. Boot up and logging in takes less than 10 seconds. With no exposed API’s and no attack surface, the Wyse Xenith 2 zero client is malware and virus immune.
Xenith 2 is integrated out of the box with XenDesktop management console, in addition to also being managed by Wyse Stratus. Requiring very little space, Xenith 2 is 30 percent smaller than the original Xenith and utilizes only 7 watts in full operation. The device itself offers 720p 25 FPS HD for wmv and H.264 with HW decoding engines, plus dual display with rotation.
