M-Files, a document management provider, has launched M-Files 8.0. The newest version offers access via mobile devices, regulatory compliance support, reporting and analysis capabilities, automated permission management, and enhanced search functionality.
The mobile access feature enables users to access and review documents whether cloud-based or installed on on-premise servers behind company firewalls. M-Files Mobile Access supports the iPhone and iPad, Android devices, BlackBerrys, Symbian S60 devices, and Windows Phone devices.
M-Files 8.0 provides the tools to manage the documentary and processes necessary for compliance with ISO 9001, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and EU GMP Annex 11. Key elements of quality management and compliance efforts supported by M-Files 8.0 include the management and processing of electronic records, signatures and submissions, standard operating procedures (SOP), corrective and preventative actions (CAPA), HR and training requirements and documentation, and audit procedures and findings.
M-Files Cloud Vault is also now available on Windows Azure. With M-Files Cloud Vault, businesses can incorporate document management running on the Windows Azure cloud platform into their existing on-premise Microsoft Dynamics CRM and ERP systems, such as Dynamics GP and AX.
