The GXV3662 HD IP camera from Grandstream Network is weather proof, vandal-resistant, and also includes a built-in heater and fan for year-round functionality.

Grandstream Networks has a new solution for SMBs in need of outdoor video surveillance. The GXV3662_HD is a new weather-proof, vandal-resistant, and tampering-proof high-definition (HD) IP camera.

 SMBs Get New Outdoor Surveillance OptionThe GXV3662 HD from Grandstream Networks provides multi-rate H.264 and MJPEG real-time video compression (up to HD 720p). The camera offers day and night modes, an advanced mega-pixel CMOS sensor with wide dynamic range, integrated PoE, IP66 compliant casing, built-in heater and fan, and SDHC interface for local storage.

“This new camera is a major and logical extension of our IP camera portfolio that offers differentiated value for surveillance applications, says Grandstream CEO David Li. “Grandstream will continue to drive product innovation in response to market demand for converged IP communications and security surveillance.”

With support for the ONVIF standard (as well as and HTTP API) the camera offers simple integration with various video management systems. Additionally, the camera offers bi-directional SIP/VoIP audio and video streaming capabilities to mobile phones and video phones, from anywhere in the world, including Grandstream’s GXV3140 and GXV3175 IP multimedia phones.

Grandstream’s entire family of IP video cameras, including the new GXV3662 HD is compatible with Grandstream’s GXE IP PBX as well as various other SIP-based IP PBXs and service provider networks.
