The show, according to D&H will include a “Go Green” aisle in which approximately ten vendors will spotlight as many as 40 ecologically-conservative products and solutions. Although vendors are still being assembled for this section, in a press release to EH Publishing, D&H says it is considering the inclusion of such products as energy-saving notebooks, low-energy hard drives, e-readers, “green” printers, document imaging equipment, and more.
The Green exhibit was conceived as a complement to D&H’s ongoing Earth Day 40th Anniversary Promotion, which runs until April 16.
“We expect the Go Green Aisle to really get VARs motivated,” says D&H vice president of marketing Mary Campbell. She adds that the distributor is “providing a framework of incentives and product knowledge that can help resellers get out there and market these solutions.”
