QuoteWerks Sees Version 4.5
Aspire Technologies updates the user interface of its flagship quoting software and adds 17 new functionality features.
Aspire Technologies Inc., developer of sales quoting software for SMBs, has released the latest version of its flagship QuoteWerks product. 
QuoteWerks version 4.5 sports an updated user interface, with new color schemes and skins. Menus, buttons, text boxes, and other user-facing elements have been given redesign options.
In terms of functionality, QuoteWerks v.4.5 now supports drag-and-drop line items in the Document Items tab of the Quote Workbook. In addition, the software now features a product search tool, called DataFeedFile.com that enables users to search online merchants and compare prices between online stores.
Among the 17 functionality updates are:
- Integration with ACT! Premium for the Web
- Item URL Fields
- Filename generation options
- Support for SugarCRM 5.5
Additionally, the latest version QuoteWerks enables users to change the order in which customers receive quotes, literature, spec sheets, cover pages, and linked resources when e-mailing or printing documents from QuoteWerks.
A six tab has also been added to the latest version of the software. Called the Links Tab, it provides users with a means of linking external files to the QuoteWerks document by dragging and dropping the file into the tab or simply clicking the plus sign. In this way, users can link a variety of different files, such as Word documents, Excel files, Cad drawings, and html documents.
Aspire Technologies Inc. vice president Brian Laufer calls the latest QuoteWerks update “important.”
