Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions, a business segment of Arrow Electronics Inc. in Englewood, Colo., has become authorized as an Oracle Enablement 2.0 Delivery Partner. The authorization allows Arrow ECS to offer Oracle boot-camp training to resellers.
“By becoming an Enablement 2.0 Delivery Partner, Arrow ECS is helping Oracle to increase the number of qualified presales and implementation-ready consultants available to customers, leading to more reseller opportunities and successfully managed project implementations,” says Lee Fawcett, vice president of professional services for Arrow ECS’ Alternative Technology Group. “This effort is consistent with Arrow ECS’ channel management model by helping Oracle develop and enable its channel, while at the same time helping resellers develop new markets and grow their businesses.”
Designed for Oracle resellers, the boot-camp training will focus on the Oracle Database and Oracle Fusion Middleware, including Oracle Business Intelligence, Oracle Business Process Management, Oracle Content Management, Oracle Coherence, Oracle WebLogic Server, and Oracle Application Integration Architecture.
The two- and three-day regional boot camps offer qualified consultants a combination of classroom lectures on products, architectures, and implementation best practices, along with hands-on training for demonstrations, installation, and data-source connectivity. Arrow ECS will also offer one-day sales demand-generation training in conjunction with the technical boot camps.
