ConnectWise Launches Cloud-Based Platform for Third-Party Apps
New on-demand platform provides integration between the company’s PSA tool and other leading products for VARs, MSPs, and IT service companies.
Tampa, Fla.-based ConnectWise, a SaaS/cloud provider of professional service automation (PSA) applications, has developed a cloud-based platform for unified business process management systems to allow the seamless integration of third-party applications for IT service companies.
The new platform provides tight integration between ConnectWise PSA software and other leading products for VARs, MSPs and IT service companies. The ConnectWise Cloud provides on-demand PSA and related business applications such as CRM, financial management, collaboration, sales and service ticketing, inventory, reports and analytics, and enables customers, partners and third-party developers to build and integrate their own hosted applications.
According to the company, its co-located sites in the U.S., Australia, and the Europe provide customers with the reliability and uptime expected from a cloud/SaaS model, reduced implementation risks and requirements, and a scalable PSA integration platform.
Gartner analysis indicates that cloud services are experiencing explosive growth, with services revenue being on pace to surpass $56.3 billion in 2009 and rising 21.3 percent from 2008.

ConnectWise Cloud provides Web-based accounting, CRM, managed service tools, quoting tools, and integration with Microsoft Office, Exchange, and SQL. Also part of ConnectWise Cloud for third-party applications is a specialized edition of CoreConnex’ software Corelytics, a financial dashboard for managing detailed business insights, forecasts, and other internal and external financial data. Additional applications available through ConnectWise on-demand platform will be announced in the near future; third-party developers are invited to contact ConnectWise for more information.
ConnectWise PSA is available as an on-premises software solution as well as a cloud-based solution. It is a platform for IT company business automation for organizations that are services-oriented, project-based, and human resource-intensive, says ConnectWise.
