Vigilix Offers Usage-Based Pricing for Virtual Technician
Company says pricing model is a good fit for solution providers getting started in offering additional services to their point-of-sale customers.
Vigilix, a provider of PCI compliant point-of-sale support software based in Greenville, S.C., has announced it is offering usage-based pricing for the Virtual Technician remote monitoring, remote control, and offsite backup products.†The usage pricing model is a good fit for solution providers that are just getting started in offering additional services to their customers. Vigilix will continue to offer block-based pricing for providers supporting large customer bases.
With usage-based pricing, Virtual Technician customers can deploy agents and turn on only the modules needed to support their customers–remote monitoring, remote control, offsite backup. In addition to subscription-based pricing, there are no minimum requirements to get started so providers can offer a flexible POS support solution to their customers that provides them a return on investment.
“In today’s economy where everyone is looking for immediate payback, this just makes good business sense,” says Andrew Kurtz, Vigilix president and CEO. “We are able to leverage the software-as-a-service model so that our customers who are looking to get started in increasing their service offerings can scale as needed without incurring any upfront costs and only paying for what they need, when they need it.”
