Jott for Salesforce Debuts for Mobile CRM Voice-to-Text Input
New addition to Jott’s line of mobile productivity services enables salespeople to directly input data hands free.
Seattle-based Jott Networks has announced the addition of Jott for Salesforce to its line of mobile productivity services. The new service uses Jott’s voice-to-text technology and enables sales professionals to directly input opportunity updates, take quick notes, and set reminders and appointments from any phone, hands free. Jott is offering a one-month free trial of Jott for Salesforce, which includes a free subscription to Jott Assistant Pro, the company’s mobile productivity tool.
There are already over 1,000 businesses that use Jott’s other services to get more done on the go,” says Jott CEO and co-founder John Pollard. “These same businesses wanted us to provide integration with more critical business applications, and Jott for Salesforce is the first in that line.”
According to Pollard, salespeople can now use the company’s voice-to-text technology to avoid the hassle of cramped or clumsy mobile interfaces and slow connection speeds, freeing up more time for selling and sacrificing less time typing reports. And “sales managers see greater adoption of Salesforce and receive better, fresher forecast data,” he says.
Jott for Salesforce features for sales professionals include:
- Update opportunities and accounts. Use your voice to update entire opportunities with a simple flow or individual forecast fields with shortcuts. Data ends up in specific accounts with no cutting, pasting, or forwarding.
- Take quick notes. While they are still fresh, speak quick notes about accounts and opportunities and add tasks to your Salesforce dashboard.
- Schedule appointments and set reminders. Use your voice to book a meeting on your Salesforce.com or Outlook calendar, and set reminders.
- Get confirmation. Every update you leave comes with a confirmation email/text message so you know that data was entered into your accounts.
Jott for Salesforce features for managers include:
- Easy set up. There are no desktop or phone downloads, and it requires no changes to your existing Salesforce setup.
- Scalable. With nothing to download or maintain, and no new equipment to buy, it accommodates individuals or organization-wide rollouts.
- No training necessary. While training is available to help teams get the most out of Jott for Salesforce, only a few simple commands are needed to get started.
Jott for Salesforce is available from the App Exchange on Salesforce.com and from the Jott.com Web site and is compatible with all carriers and mobile phones in the U.S. and Canada. Pricing is $25 per user per month. For that fee, users can send unlimited updates into Salesforce with no overage charges.
