Dropsuite Adds Cloud-to-Cloud Data Protection Solutions to Pax8 Catalog

MSPs can now procure Dropsuite’s Cloud Backup for Office 365 and Cloud Backup for G Suite Gmail offerings via Pax8’s cloud marketplace or directly within their PSA.

Dropsuite Ltd., a cloud data backup platform for businesses, has entered into a partnership with Pax8, a cloud distributor, to offer Cloud Backup for Office 365 and Cloud Backup for G Suite Gmail to managed service providers (MSPs) throughout North America.

“Pax8 empowers MSPs to scale their cloud practices faster and more effectively so that day-to-day tasks such as provisioning, billing, marketing and selling are much easier than what other distributors offer,” said Ridley Ruth, chief operating officer at Dropsuite, in a press statement. “With Pax8 as a next-generation distribution partner, Dropsuite will be able to ensure MSPs ‘backup to the future’ with ease.”

According to Dropsuite, Microsoft is not in the data backup on demand business, and with cyberthreats evolving, businesses can no longer risk exposing their brands to unexpected data loss events such as ransomware, phishing attacks, rogue employee theft, or accidental deletion. Pax8 will offer Dropsuite Cloud Backup for Office 365 to safeguard Exchange Online (email files, attachments, calendars and tasks), plus SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams data.

Additionally, Pax8 will offer Dropsuite Cloud Backup for G Suite Gmail, a data protection solution engineered for 100 percent data protection and quick recovery.

“Providing data security is essential for protecting businesses from day to day hazards or malicious attacks,” said Ryan Walsh, chief channel officer at Pax8, in a prepared remark. “We see Dropsuite as an optimized email archiving technology that MSPs can stack together with their Office 365 or G Suite environments.”

For MSPs looking for a more comprehensive data management solution that meets regulatory compliance requirements such as HIPAA and GDPR, there is an optional legal-grade email archiving system with unlimited retention and no import fees that can be activated within Dropsuite’s single pane of glass control panel for ease of management.

According to the involved companies, Dropsuite Cloud Backup has these 10 MSP benefits:

  1. Fully automated backup (12x daily)
  2. Unlimited data storage
  3. Unlimited retention (or set your own timetable)
  4. No minimum purchases, no set up fees and no ingestion fees
  5. No user agent to download and install
  6. GDPR compliant advanced search tools
  7. Military-grade 256-bit advanced encryption
  8. Insights BI email analytics toolkit (free)
  9. Compatible with both Office 365 and G Suite Gmail
  10. Legal grade email archiving (optional) with unlimited retention and no import fees

As an added benefit of this partnership, Pax8 will simplify the billing process for MSPs and their clients through integrations with leading professional services automation (PSA) providers. This enables MSPs to purchase Dropsuite Cloud Backup for Office 365 or Dropsuite Cloud Backup for G Suite Gmail within their preferred PSA tool through Pax8.
