Zix Corp. has launched ZixSuite, a cloud-based security and compliance solution that combines threat protection, business email continuity, email encryption, email data loss prevention (DLP), and unified archiving in single, unified package.
ZixSuite is designed to simplify security and compliance for SMBs that need to protect critical business communications while meeting industry and corporate regulatory requirements. It brings together the Dallas-based vendor’s ZixProtect, ZixEncrypt, and ZixArchive solutions.
Together, those solutions provide protection from zero-hour attacks; continued access to mail services during server outages; automatic encryption and protection of email containing sensitive data; and unified archiving of business communications for compliance and eDiscovery purposes.†
ZixSuite also comes with a centralized management and reporting interface.

Zix acquired cloud distributor AppRiver†for $275 million last month days before shipping†a new release of its email archiving solution with support for social media, IM, and other incremental data sources.
