Splashtop, a provider of remote access, collaboration, and remote support solutions, has integrated Bitdefender's Antimalware Security Tools solution with its Splashtop Remote Support offering. The new cross-vendor collaboration lets joint partners deploy Bitdefender technology to managed endpoints from within the Splashtop console and then view the protection status of those devices.

Splashtop Remote Support is designed to give MSPs and IT support teams the ability to monitor, manage, and remotely access their clients’ computers and servers. In addition to providing remote support and maintenance, Splashtop notes, MSPs need to ensure that customer endpoints are safe from cyberthreats. The integration with Bitdefender technology aims to help Splashtop Remote Support users provide the high level of security necessary in today’s environment.
“The Bitdefender MSP Security Suite delivers a complete endpoint solution with unified management and a single agent,” said Jose Lopez, vice president of technology licensing for Bitdefender, in prepared remarks. “With tunable machine learning, detection, investigation, and response, MSPs can now combat sophisticated threats using a multi-tenant, multi-tiered model.”
Bitdefender integration with Splashtop Remote Support is available now. Splashtop Remote Support customers can purchase and deploy Bitdefender technology from within their Splashtop console.
