Scale Computing’s HC3 Featured In New Ingram Micro Business Transformation Center

Collaborative “real world” working environments inside innovative facility help channel partners showcase the potential of technology

Scale Computing, a market leader in edge computing and hyperconverged solutions, has announced its HC3 Edge platform will be featured in the collaborative environment of the new Ingram Micro Business Transformation Center. Open now at the distributor’s East Coast headquarters in Buffalo, NY, this immersion experience facility provides Ingram Micro channel partners in the U.S. and Canada with an innovative and seamless look at technology integrated across vendor solutions and in “real world” working scenarios.

The 3,500-square-foot Business Transformation Center offers a highly visual learning opportunity that includes three vertical-focused areas—education, retail, and healthcare—a data center with hands-on capabilities and a unified communications and collaboration zone. Supported by six full-time engineers, the Business Transformation Center features more than 30 vendors and multiple market categories.

“Our participation in Ingram Micro’s Business Transformation Center gives us a tremendous opportunity to extend a unique offering to our partners,” said Scott Mann, director of North American channel for Scale Computing. “The collaborative environment will allow them to showcase for their customers the end-to-end solutions that Scale Computing, along with Ingram Micro and their other BTC vendors, can provide in a live edge computing deployment.”

“We created the Business Transformation Center because it’s important for our channel partners and their customers to see the opportunities, challenges and targeted business outcomes technology can uncover and address within specific working environments,” said Greg Richey, director, training and professional services, Ingram Micro. “By spotlighting healthcare, retail and education technology solutions in a real-world scenario we are enabling our channel partners and their customers to see the technology in action and make more informed business decisions about what’s needed and why.”

Ingram Micro was the first technology distributor to open two Solution Centers in the U.S. For over a decade these Solutions Centers served as coastal hubs for the IT industry’s emerging and in-demand technologies, and were the first to feature digital home and digital signage solutions. Both offered channel partners a chance to preview breakthrough technologies and test-drive new products and solutions before recommending them to clients.
