Marketopia's First 4U2GROW Conference Opens

Designed to help MSPs grow their businesses, the two-day event in St. Petersburg, Fla., features thought leadership on increasing sales, branding, lead generation, closing deals, and more. By Michael Siggins

Marketopia’s first annual 4U2GROW conference kicked off yesterday in St. Petersburg, Fla., with a a tour of Marketopia’s new office and a welcome reception, and continues on October 13 and 14 with a full agenda. The event is designed to help MSPs grow their businesses, and includes sessions on increasing sales, upgrading existing clients, branding, lead generation, and how to close the deal. Attendees also have an opportunity to network and browse the vendor exhibit.

Marketopia, founded in 2014, is a specialized provider of demand-generation and marketing services, sales solutions, and team training for vendors and IT service companies. Tracy Blalock, content marketing manager for Marketopia, says MSPs “know they have to up their game in terms of their websites and online presence,” and many of them don’t have any internal marketing or very strong marketing. “When they come to Marketopia they [tell us] it’s very rare to find a company that knows marketing very well and knows the industry well, and knows their day-to-day business and what it takes to sell to a customer. Some people have technical industry knowledge, some people have marketing knowledge; we have both.”

Today 4U2GROW starts with a keynote on “The State of the Channel and Your Role.” Sessions include:

  • Scaling Your Services
  • Leveraging Security to Gain Competitive Advantage

The afternoon includes the CompTIA Executive Certificate in IT Security and technology expo.
