“I always say we’re on this journey together,” he notes. “Watch for the advancements that we’re making and the announcements that we’re making across our differentiated portfolio of leadership products.”
In the meantime, the immediate step Kimrey urges every channel pro to take is registering for membership in the Intel Partner Alliance, the unified company-wide partner program launched early this year. The Intel Solutions Marketplace is part of it, and according to Kimrey can also help partners find peers to collaborate with.
“The reality is that as technology becomes more complex, as new capabilities come online, it’s very hard to find one partner that can do it all,” Kimrey says. “Being able to partner with each other is really critical.”
Intel conceded at its recent Partner Connect event that some people have had trouble accessing the Partner Alliance portal, but encouraged channel pros to make signing up a priority anyway.
