Cisco Launches Wireless VPN Firewall For Small Businesses

Available for $99, the RV110W is a small office router with a four-port switch and native IPv6 support.

Cisco is now offering a new wireless VPN firewall, RV110W, specifically designed to support small businesses. The RV110W is an affordable office router for secure wired and wireless connectivity to the Internet for small or remote offices with one to five employees.

With VPN technology, small business can access data remotely at any time, using Windows or Mac. The RV110W supports up to four separate virtual networks, enabling businesses to control access. QoS support is also available on the built-in switch to allow for prioritizing of network traffic. With native support for IPv6, customers are able to take advantage of future IPv6 technologies without needing to upgrade equipment. High-speed wireless N access points give users a faster file transfer time.

The small office router is easy for IT service providers to set up for small business customers. Available today through designated resellers, the RV110W starts at $99.
