The scalable services will include Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) for midrange and Intel systems, cloud backup, and disaster recovery services. Xerox Cloud supports multiple operating systems, databases, legacy applications, and ERP systems.
With the new services, IaaS is quickly installed and ready to use with an on-demand provisioning process. No long-term contracts are required, and Xerox uses its Business Cloud infrastructure, normally reserved for corporate enterprises. †The backup and disaster recovery service is available at a monthly, utility-based price, and everything on the server can be restored in less than 24 hours. Data backup is replicated, secured, encrypted, and conducted daily.
