New report reveals ransomware payments are soaring even as attack frequency declines, exposing major gaps in visibility and response.

    • Ransomware Payouts Skyrocket: While the number of attacks dropped from eight incidents to roughly five or six per year, the average payment surged by over $1 million, from $2.5 million to $3.6 million.
    • Slow Response Times: Organizations took more than two weeks to detect and contain a security alert, experienced over 37 hours of downtime, and faced threat actors with network access lasting nearly two weeks before an attack began.
