In a deal first discussed with ChannelPro last October, D&H Distributing has signed an agreement with SaaSMAX, a cloud aggregator and distributor of software-as-a-service applications.
Through referrals, D&H and SaaSMAX will introduce VARs to dozens of hosted SMB and cybersecurity applications for a range of vertical markets from SaaSMAX’s community of software vendor partners. This new agreement with SaaSMAX falls under D&H’s growing Cloud Solutions program, and is part of its Solutions & Services enablement offerings. D&H’s Cloud Solutions also include the D&H Cloud Marketplace, a self-serve transactional portal where VARs can choose from a series of hosted solutions to deliver on a monthly basis.
The addition of SaaSMAX’s applications to D&H’s cloud offering aims to give VARs a more comprehensive portfolio of cloud-based apps and services to offer their end customers. SaaSMAX will provide expertise and strategies to ease adoption and help D&H VARs market these new services to their customers. The two companies will also work together to connect VARs and ISVs from their respective partner communities, in an effort to help both communities bring innovative hosted services to the marketplace.
“SaaSMAX’s portfolio addresses virtually every thriving vertical segment that D&H’s SMB customers traditionally target, including healthcare, education, legal, financial services, real estate, government, and telecommunications, to name a few,” said Ryan Flynn, senior sales manager for cloud and applications at D&H, in prepared remarks. “As the IT economy continues to move toward cloud-based services and an outlying ‘digital transformation,’ our VARs can leverage these extensive new capabilities to build their hosted offerings, while generating incremental revenues.”
SaaSMAX partners with both established and niche ISVs. The SaaSMAX portfolio of B2B SaaS and cloud software works to deliver functionality in areas such as HIPAA compliance, collaboration, mobile device management, hosted Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint management, security authentication, backup, business intelligence, mobility, and beyond.
