CrowdStrike Inc., a leader in cloud-delivered endpoint protection, announced the availability of the†CrowdStrike Falcon platform†on Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace. Due to its cloud-native architecture, CrowdStrike Falcon can protect endpoints running on premise as well as in the cloud. The availability of Falcon on AWS Marketplace makes it easier for AWS customers to purchase and deploy Falcon via their existing AWS account, regardless of where the endpoints are located. The platform is currently available on AWS Marketplace in the U.S. with immediate plans to expand access for international regions.
CrowdStrike Falcon leverages AWS to ensure threat prevention and visibility for customers and is designed to provide industry-leading, effective, scalable, and efficient endpoint security. Now, organizations can deploy the lightweight CrowdStrike Falcon sensor on their AWS workloads and immediately gain threat prevention, detection, and response capabilities. This announcement opens up access to the CrowdStrike Falcon platform on AWS directly to CrowdStrike resellers and customers in the enterprise, small and mid-sized business (SMB) arena, and other AWS customers and software developers.
As an Advanced Tier Partner in the AWS Partner Network (APN), CrowdStrike has earned a recognition for its rich set of APIs and now has access to a variety of training, educational, and support resources to more efficiently leverage the power of AWS on behalf of customers.
“CrowdStrike has reinvented how endpoint security is delivered with its industry-leading native cloud architecture,” said Matthew Polly, vice president of Worldwide Alliances, Channels and Business Development, CrowdStrike. “Making CrowdStrike Falcon available on AWS Marketplace allows joint customers to access complete and flexible protection for data and assets being stored and used in the public cloud with the same ease, flexibility, and efficacy that Falcon users are accustomed to. As a company, we are focused on making CrowdStrike Falcon readily available for procurement and deployment without friction or delays, and this is a great step in expanding exposure to massive market opportunities.”
Leveraging AWS, CrowdStrike customers are able to deploy the endpoint protection platform with incredible speed and efficacy, gaining immediate visibility and threat protection. The lightweight Falcon sensor can be installed on both Windows and Linux operating systems hosted on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) in a matter of minutes.
