At SharePoint Fest in Washington D.C., BitTitan revealed that its cloud-based data migration solution, MigrationWiz, will support document migrations to and from Microsoft SharePoint Online, including SharePoint 2010 and 2013, as well as from File Server. MigrationWiz will automate the entire process of moving document libraries and lists, including permissions, from one source to another, enabling partners and companies to use a single application to automate both mailbox and SharePoint migrations to the cloud.
MigrationWiz allows companies to migrate mailboxes and documents together, from one source to another, without needing additional applications or services. With mailbox migrations, the data migration solution enables companies to move from an older version of SharePoint to SharePoint Online. For document migrations, MigrationWiz keeps existing file hierarchies and permissions intact. Companies can also choose which documents they need to move to the cloud, allowing them to only move the files they need.
