Zynstra Embraces Channel-Only Model to Sell Hybrid IT Solution to the North American SMB

The hybrid IT solution, offering enterprise-class IT without the enterprise cost, is now available through a network of channel partners based in North America.

Zynstra, a provider of enterprise-class hybrid IT for the SMB, has introduced its Cloud Managed Server Appliances in North America, which will be sold indirectly through a network of channel partners. Now, these partners can offer to their SMB customers enterprise-class IT without the enterprise cost, states the software company, just in time for the Windows Server 2003 end-of-support deadline. †

“The Zynstra hybrid IT solution enables channel partners to deliver enterprise-class IT for a simple monthly fee, with a highly cost-effective support model,” says Daniel Langton, president of CloudMSP and Zynstra’s first distribution partner in North America. “By adding Zynstra to our own portfolio of products, we can support MSPs as they help their SMB customers focus on running a business, rather than worrying about managing IT issues. This is especially important as support for Windows Server 2003 comes to an end.”†

The hybrid IT solution merges the benefits of on-premises IT with the cloud. Sold as a service, the management and support is fronted by Zynstra’s channel partners, but delivered by the company’s technology. Features of the hybrid IT solution include:

  • Core IT services: A private cloud on one or more clustered servers, pre-integrated with network gateway, Active Directory, file and print servers, a range of managed applications, and a managed virtual machine “infrastructure as a service” environment are all included on the Zynstra appliance. Backup management and disaster recovery capabilities are built in, including a reverse backup for Office 365 users.
  • Automatic updating: All support and management are conducted automatically and behind the scenes, so routine maintenance by the SMB is eliminated. Upgrades and security patches are kept current.
  • Pre integration: The SMB IT Appliance comes out of the box integrated with Office 365, Azure, and other key cloud applications.
