A multi-tier virtual server line from channel-centric solutions provider Green Cloud Technologies aims to provide SMBs with a customizable infrastructure.
Green Cloud focuses on providing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) products through channel-only distribution. Green Cloud offers SSD, SAS, and SATA storage to meet a range of SMB needs.
The virtual server line represents “a significant financial investment and presents an even higher level of performance and scalability,” states Green Cloud in a press release submitted to ChannelPro-SMB. By enabling channel partners to customize for SMB clients an infrastructure on a server-by-server basis based on storage, performance, and replication and restoration requirements, the multi-tier virtual servers makes it easer to prioritize server needs.
“This product enhancement is a big one for Green Cloud’s active channel partners,” says Charles L. Houser, Green Cloud’s executive vice president of marketing. “This gives our partners and their customers access to virtualized data centers that are customized to meet their needs.”
“More and more, businesses are realizing that backup services are about as good as dial-up Internet,” says Green Cloud CEO Shay Houser. “They are simply useless in today’s environment. A full restoral Cloud virtual server is the only way to ensure a seamless and permanent restoral of a downed environment.”
Shay Houser adds, “By creating these different service levels, we can ensure that our customers and channel partners receive a server that meets their individual needs on a server-by-server basis.† We have eliminated the complexity, confusion and uncertainty when it comes to building virtual data centers.”
