This October to kick off National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM), Intel and McAfee are asking people to hack their lives—not their computers. In an bid to put users on the fast track to cyber security, the companies have produced a series of quick tips and fixes billed as “digital lifehacks” available online throughout the Fall. Visitors to the site will also have access to exclusive deals from companies like Dell*, including the opportunity to win a Dell XPS 12 Ultrabook and complementary subscriptions to McAfee LiveSafe in the “#hackyourlife” sweepstakes. This year marks the 10th anniversary of National Cyber Security Month, a collaborative effort between government and the industry to help users stay safe online.
