IT distributor Tech Data Corp. has made its new mobile application platform available via the Windows Store.
“With accessTD for Microsoft’s Windows 8, solution providers can quickly access up-to-date product and order information to help them efficiently meet sales goals at work or on the go with their Windows 8 device,” the distributor states in a press release submitted to ChannelPro-SMB.
The app accessTD is a tool that brings “essential techdata.com functionality in a mobile application.” VARs use the app to search product pricing and availability, create and email quotes, and fulfill and monitor orders. Additionally, carts created on techdata.com now sync with†accessTD.
Partners accessing the app via Windows 8 now benefit from such features as:
