ON24, a webcasting provider, is now offering ON24 Mobile Virtual Environments (MOVE). ON24 MOVE expands ON24’s mobile product strategy by optimizing virtual environments for users on mobile devices, such as tablets and smartphones. Tablets provide an HTML 5-based immersive 3D virtual environment, and mobile phones deliver a contact-focused compact view.
With ON24’s webcasting platform growing 300 percent in the last year, according to the company, the new mobile platform offers an unprecedented mobile access. The new “device-aware” support eliminates the need for additional customization by the webcaster. New features for tablets include:
- Auto-detection of phones and tablets
- Immersive 3D virtual location
- Touch-based navigation
- Videos and animations
- Group chat
- Content search
- Booth representative listings
Tablet users can enter the virtual locations to navigate to booths, engage in chat, view and download documents, and network with other attendees. Mobile users are captured in a central reporting system, for ease of the webcaster. Users accessing content from mobile devices appear on the registration and attendance reports like any other user.
