Syncplicity, a cloud based file management provider, is offering a beta rollout of group sync and sharing capabilities for business users. Users can sync their everyday work folders and files, wherever they are stored, across platforms and devices even while offline.
The new group capabilities maintain administrative and security features, enabling users to automatically sync and share folders with existing and new team members without having to drop them in content management systems or special folders. Syncplicity speeds access to shared files and eliminates information silos. Customers can share folders with pre-defined groups of users rather than individuals. Users can be added and removed as needed.
Folders can also be shared with read only or read-write access, based on permissions set by the administrator. Data loss is prevented by not allowing users to delete files unless they are the original owners. If users are working off line, changes are synced to a group as soon as the user connects.
The group capabilities are available via group beta test. For more information, visit Syncplicity.
