The practice management suite announces new Clio Connect portal features.
Clio Connect provides a secure portal through which lawyers can share documents, including invoices. Lawyers can also setup online payments through Clio Connect.
“These latest enhancements are the product of the thoughtful customer feedback we have received on how we can improve Clio Connect,” says Clio president Jack Newton, “and we are confident they will change how our Clio users interface with their clients and colleagues.”
New features of Clio Connect include:
- Firmfeed — Provides real-time activity stream of internal- and collaboration-related events. Offices can track when a client has viewed a document, accessed a bill, or submitted a secure message.
- Messaging — Enables communications between a law firm and particular clients.
- Intra-Office Messaging — Offers tools for communications about projects, documents, etc.
- Scheduling — Provides tools for maintaining timelines and coordinating deliverables.
Clio’s monthly subscription fee is $49 per attorney and $25 per support staff.
