Fujitsu Sells Solarflare’s 10 GbE Server Adapters

Fujitsu Frontech North America Inc. will now sell Solarflare’s SFN5122F enterprise and SFN5162F midrange 10 GbE server adapters under the Solarflare brand with the Fujitsu XG series Ethernet switches, including the XG2600 switch.

“Adding momentum to Solarflare’s market growth, the Fujitsu relationship further solidifies Solarflare’s reputation as the No. 1 choice for 10 GbE server networking solutions in high-performance computing, high-frequency trading, and cloud networking environments,” states a Solarflare press release submitted to Channel Pro-SMB.

“Our server adapters provide the best performance for a wide range of applications and customers, including high-bandwidth and low-latency use cases,” says Mike Smith, Solarflare’s vice president and general manager of host solutions. “Switch vendors and the broader 10 GbE ecosystem are taking notice.

“Fujitsu is committed to driving industry-leading networking and cloud solutions in a highly competitive market,”

The strategic partnership with Solarflare allows Fujitsu to provide customers with comprehensive switching and networking solutions that focus on low latency, high performance and low total cost of ownership,” adds Vic Herring, Fujitsu’s vice president of sales and marketing.
