New Suite of Management Scripts Available for AuthAnvil Agents
LabTech Software administrators can now apply protection scopes to critical servers that they manage via AuthAnvil agents.
Scorpion Software has a new suite of management scripts for the deployment, management, and monitoring of AuthAnvil logon agents for LabTech Software, an RMM and automation application.
Scorpion Software says the management scripts were developed for LabTech administrators managing the security of client networks. Specifically, it’s for those that have deployed AuthAnvil agents to apply protection scopes to the critical servers that they manage.
The newly-released scripts help IT professionals watch for the tampering of agent security in the field, enabling admins to quickly deliver agent updates, change settings, and override password revisions.
The AuthAnvil Management Pack includes recommendations for best practices in monitoring and alerts about specific authentication behaviors, including failed logons, attempted bypasses, and applied overrides. It also includes service monitoring that alerts administrators as to the health of their authentication subsystem across all client networks under management.
“With the new management pack, administrators not only have the ability to secure their LabTech administrative console using AuthAnvil as before, but they can now use LabTech to administer AuthAnvil in the field as well,” says LabTech CEO Matt Nachtrab. “We anticipate a great amount of interest in this tool now that it has become generally available to network administrators.”
