FaxBack Offers Free VoIP Plug-In
New plug-in enables SMBs and others to combine Microsoft Fax and VoIP.
Portland, Ore.-based FaxBack Inc., which provides VoIP fax server solutions, announced a partner program designed to help service providers add Microsoft Fax capabilities to their VoIP offerings for free.
Microsoft Fax is a fax client included in the business versions of the Windows OS. Until FaxBack released its certified VoIP plug-in, Microsoft’s analog fax technology required that users connect to a PBX via modem. Now, however, FaxBack’s VoIP plug-in enables SMBs and other customers to combine Microsoft Fax and VoIP.
