N-able Technologies Strengthens Vertical Market Presence and Support for Partners Selling Retail Solutions

Helps MSPs and IT pros respond to retailers’ demand for improved remote manageability and service efficiency.

Ottawa, Canada-based N-able Technologies, a provider of network and systems management software and services for managed service providers (MSPs) and IT professionals, has announced that it is expanding its presence in the retail market.

As part of its efforts, the company is engaging and educating retail-focused solution providers, MSPs, and IT professionals on the benefits of managed services technology, and in particular, N-able’s N-central software (see related ChannelPro-SMB story). N-able is also assisting partners with marketing their IT services to new and existing retail customers, as well as providing pre- and post-sales support.

To further strengthen ties within the retail industry, N-able has joined the Retail Solutions Providers Association (RSPA), which is dedicated to retail technology and made up of resellers, distributors, hardware manufacturers, software developers, consultants, and service providers. N-able will also exhibit at RetailNOW, RSPA’s annual summer convention and expo, which is taking place July 11-16, 2009 in Las Vegas.

By keeping a pulse on the retail industry through organizations such as RSPA, N-able wants to help its partners identify and capture new and incremental sales and service opportunities, says Derik Belair, vice-president of marketing and business development for N-able.

“Over the last six months, we’ve seen an increasing demand for greater remote manageability and IT service efficiency within the retail vertical, especially with regard to point-of-sale solutions and back-office network infrastructure,” says Belair. “By tapping into the power of N-able’s N-central software and complementary toolset to help manage the technology remotely and ensure optimal performance, our partners are able to provide better customer care and add more value while driving down IT costs.”
