Zomentum Launches Partner Management Solution for SaaS Vendors

The new system, called PartnerAlign, is designed to help MSPs complete sales quotes involving SaaS solutions faster and more easily while providing the makers of those solutions greater visibility into their channel partners’ sales activity. By Rich Freeman

Zomentum has added a partner management solution to its revenue platform for managed service providers.

Introduced at Kaseya’s Connect IT conference in Las Vegas today, the new system is designed to help MSPs complete quotes involving SaaS solutions faster and more easily while providing the makers of those solutions greater visibility into their channel partners’ sales activity. That, according to Zomentum Channel Chief Ted Roller, is something that most partner relationship management solutions can’t do.

“What I’m seeing out in the market is that the vendors are demanding and requiring and requesting and praying for a tool that will allow them to see the sales funnels of their partners in some way,” he says.

Called PartnerAlign, the new system gives MSP users of Zomentum Grow, a “sales acceleration” solution designed to streamline sales quote preparation, centralized access to co-brandable product information from multiple vendors, as well as the ability to send follow-up questions to those vendors.

“You can actually start chatting with the vendor and get sales support from the vendor inside of Zomentum,” Roller says.

Users can drag and drop relevant information directly into their quotes as well. The net effect, according to Roller, is less “swivel chairing” among partner portals and dramatically quicker completion of sales quotes, something customers appreciate as much as channel pros.

“Time is of the essence for the customers too,” Roller notes.

In addition to improved ability to forecast partner sales, vendors get real-time notification whenever an MSP downloads their sales and marketing materials or adds one of their products to a quote, and can follow up proactively with suggestions or assistance. 

“It’s basically just shrinking and compressing the distance between the MSPs and the vendors into a much faster, much easier, much more collaborative experience,” Roller says of PartnerAlign. 

Data from the system also helps SaaS vendors identify which among their sales enablement tools and product bundles are both most and least effective, Roller adds, and makes onboarding new partners simpler.

MSPs must opt into sharing sales data with vendors by enrolling with them through either Zomentum’s marketplace or its integrations with D&H, Ingram Micro, TD SYNNEX, and other major distributors.

PartnerAlign’s functionality is available immediately to MSP users of Zomentum Grow at no extra charge. SaaS software makers must pay a licensing fee to access the system. 

Founded in 2018, Zomentum currently has over 3,000 partners using its software to process some $800 million of sales revenue annually. PartnerAlign is the latest addition to its growing portfolio. In March, the company introduced Zomentum Connect, a SaaS billing reconciliation solution based on software acquired along with automated license management and billing reconciliation vendor Goolash in January.
