Tech Data Offers EMC VSPEX BLUE for Simplified IT Infrastructure

The EMC VSPEX BLUE hyper-converged infrastructure appliance, built on Intel Xeon processor-based x86 servers, is now available through the company’s Advanced Infrastructure Solutions (AIS) division.

Technology distributor, Tech Data Corporation, will now offer the newly released EMC VSPEX BLUE hyper-converged infrastructure appliance to its channel of solution providers in the United States through the company’s Advanced Infrastructure Solutions (AIS) division.

“As the converged infrastructure segment continues to grow and change in the marketplace, Tech Data is excited to offer the EMC VSPEX BLUE appliance, which is designed to address future market growth,” says Chuck Bartlett, senior vice president, AIS at Tech Data. “Our Systems Engineers and field representatives will help train and fully enable solution providers interested in offering the VSPEX BLUE appliance to end-user clients. The VSPEX BLUE appliance provides the flexibility to manage costs, enhance service delivery, meet evolving market expectations, and increase business revenue for solution providers.”

The VSPEX BLUE appliance, built on Intel Xeon processor-based x86 servers, integrates VMware EVO:Rail and EMC software on Intel technology to simplify IT Infrastructure deployment and management. A hyper-converged infrastructure appliance, the EMC VSPEX BLUE is comprised of common modular building blocks, offering solution providers linear scalability from one to four 2U/4-nodes, which is ideal for infrastructure consolidations, virtual desktops in large remote or branch offices, and managed service providers.

Tech Data will incorporate the EMC VSPEX BLUE appliance into its go-to-market and enablement strategies, providing sales acceleration services and assets for solution providers at all levels. Solution providers can learn more about the appliance through webinars and trainings focused on identifying new opportunities in the marketplace, while solution providers seeking to start selling EMC solutions can receive the general certifications and designations needed for ordering.
