Pax8 Brings Advanced Desktop-as-a-Service to Market through Agreement with CloudJumper

Value-added cloud distributor Pax8 has announced a partnership with workspace-as-a-service platform provider CloudJumper. Through the agreement, Pax8 will offer CloudJumper’s nWorkSpace for the delivery of cloud desktops, applications, and complete IT workspaces.

“Businesses around the world have recognized the need to become more agile in response to changing partner and customer dynamics, and the cloud is a significant means to that end,” says John Street, chief executive officer at Pax8. “The ability to access the computing resources you need when you need them is a cornerstone of our WaaS platform partner, CloudJumper, which has allowed us to capitalize on this growing IT category without delay.”

CloudJumper, a spinoff of nGenx, brings more than 10 years of experience in cloud-based application delivery to the channel. As more companies adopt a bring your own device (BYOD) practice, CloudJumper solutions combined with Pax8’s marketplace offer a seamless transition, enabling solution providers to easily create pre-configured solutions and services.

CloudJumper’s nWorkSpace features desktop virtualization, 60 GB of personal and shared storage, over 2000 hosted applications, Microsoft Office 365 support, and seven daily backup configurations.
