Netskope Selects Cylance to Enhance Netskope Security Cloud with AI-Powered Advanced Threat Protection

Company’s industry-leading approach to threat protection combined with Cylance’s predictive capabilities provides end-to-end threat protection to Netskope customers

Netskope, the leader in cloud security, announced a product partnership with†Cylance, the global provider of AI-driven, prevention-first security solutions. The partnership provides Netskope customers the additional benefit of Cylance’s AI-driven threat detection throughout the Netskope Security Cloud.

In today’s connected enterprise, cyber threats are more complex than ever, and many evolving strains of polymorphic malware go undetected by signature-based antivirus approaches that fail to detect them in cloud- and web-based environments. As a result, businesses can’t fully protect themselves against new, unknown threats, leaving their most critical assets at the risk of being compromised.

Cylance’s AI-based prevention technology adds an additional layer of protection that augments already-robust malware detection, user-behavior-based anomaly detection, advanced heuristic analysis, and dynamic sandbox analysis of Netskope Threat Protection. Businesses benefit from heterogeneous detection approaches and a defense-in-depth strategy, coupled with the deployment simplicity of the Netskope “one cloud” infrastructure to accurately detect zero-day and unknown threats across all of their cloud and web security use cases for any files and data inspected.

“With the increasing speed and complexity of cyber threats targeting enterprises today, it’s imperative for every business to choose a smart security solution that can get ahead of and identify malicious activity before sensitive data is compromised,” said†Amol Kabe, VP Product Management, Netskope. “By partnering with Cylance, we’re supercharging Netskope’s threat protection stack, providing customers with a single security platform that offers protection from† the fast-moving cyber threat landscape with the highest efficacy in one security cloud.”

Netskope customers can achieve comprehensive protection of all user activity through the granular visibility and user activity context across SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and web transactions provided by the patented Netskope Cloud XD technology. Combined with Cylance, this holistic security solution enables enterprises to improve detection efficacy and reduce operational overhead for security teams.

“Our AI-based security technology, coupled with our prevention-first approach to cybersecurity, has permanently reinvented how businesses address endpoint security today,” said†John Giacomini, executive vice president of global sales, Cylance. “Together, Cylance and Netskope provide modern enterprises with end-to-end threat protection capable of combating both known and unknown malware strains before they affect business performance.”

The Netskope Security Cloud helps the world’s largest enterprises take full advantage of the cloud and web, eliminating blind spots by going deeper than any other security solution to quickly target and control activities across thousands of cloud services and millions of websites. With full control from one cloud platform, customers benefit from comprehensive data protection that guards data everywhere and advanced threat protection that stops elusive attacks.
