LogMeIn Inc. has teamed up with Texas Instruments (TI) to help businesses accelerate commercial Internet of Things (IoT) initiatives. As part of the collaboration, LogMeIn has joined TI's new IoT cloud ecosystem, a group of third-party cloud service providers selected to help manufacturers using TI products develop new connected offerings. TI has also joined the LogMeIn Xively Partner Network, and the companies are integrating TI's SimpleLink Wi-Fi solutions with LogMeIn's Xively IoT platform.

Built on LogMeIn's Gravity cloud infrastructure, Xively is a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) designed to help companies accelerate IoT initiatives. Featuring an efficient data communications backbone, trust and permissioning engine, and data and directory service, the Xively platform can be integrated with hardware solutions, like TI's SimpleLink Wi-Fi solutions.
