Epson has introduced the SureColor T5470M, a 36-inch printer and integrated scanner dsigned to provide a multifunction solution for printing, sharing, and saving technical documents. The latest addition to Epson's SureColor T-Series line of wide-format printers, the new combination print/copy/scan unit produces A1/D-size prints including blueprints, charts, posters, and more in as little as 22 seconds.
"Epson is committed to listening to customer feedback and incorporating suggestions into future products to continue developing powerful and easy-to-use solutions," said Matt Kochanowski, product manager for professional imaging at Epson America Inc., in a press statement. "With an integrated scanner, the SureColor T5470M is designed to maximize collaboration and productivity and streamline workflow for innovative industry segments, engineering, designing, architecture, construction jobs sites, and more, all in a small, space-saving design."

The integrated scanner supports multi-page scanning and scanning to USB drives. Next-generation UltraChrome XD2 archival pigment ink, the manufacturer says, delivers vibrant, durable prints.
According to Epson, the SureColor T5470M also features a space-saving case and multiple usability features, including a 4.3-inch LCD touchscreen and high-capacity replacement ink cartridges up to 350 ml in size. In addition, the new product supports a range of print options, such as printing from tablets and smartphones. Advanced network security and encryption helps user protect sensitive information.
The SureColor T5470M will be available through Epson Authorized Professional Imaging Resellers in September for $5,995 (MSRP). It will come with a standard one-year Epson Preferred Limited Warranty.
