CompTIA Teams with MSP Partners on Managed IT Services Summit
October event aims to “further the industry-wide adoption of managed services.”
CompTIA, a major trade association for the IT industry, has joined forces with MSP Partners in putting on this year’s Managed IT Services Summit.
MSP Partners is an alliance founded by Cisco, Ingram Micro, Intel, Level Platforms and Microsoft in conjunction with the active participation of more than 20 leading IT vendors and thousands of managed service providers (MSPs). It provides research and education to solution providers. In its first two years, MSP Partners has attracted more than 4,000 members.
The 2009 CompTIA Managed IT Services Summit will focus on the business issues that impact success in the fast-growing field of managed IT services. The event is scheduled for Oct. 7-9, 2009 at the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.†

The 2009 CompTIA Managed IT Services Summit will include discussions centered around important business topics, such as compensation models for employees and strategies for lead generation. The event will also feature sessions on technology issues, including best practices for remote management and monitoring, managed print services, online storage, and business continuity.
