Axis Communications, the market leader in network video, announced AXIS Audio Manager C7050 Server, which offers a single point of audio management for larger and more advanced systems –enabling organizations to enhance the benefits of audio in security and public-address systems and improve the customer experience with background music.
AXIS Audio Manager C7050 Server offers a complete audio management package that includes both hardware and software. It allows users to manage and control all their network audio devices from a single user interface, including Axis network speakers, audio bridges, microphones and horn speakers. Easy to install and operate, AXIS Audio Manager is perfect for central management of audio content and scheduling in larger, more advanced audio installations.
“Advances in network technologies are making IP audio more flexible than ever before,” said Fredrik Nilsson, VP, Americas, Axis Communications, Inc. “AXIS Audio Manager C7050 Server delivers flexibility and seamless control across Axis’ entire audio portfolio, making it the hub of network audio infrastructure. This solution will help organizations improve safety and security and increase business efficiencies providing a tailored audio experience for their customers.”
Ultimate scalability and flexibility
AXIS Audio Manager enables easy and efficient zone management to meet individual site needs. For example, a multi-site retail chain can define different zones for each geographical location and its specific site areas. With zone management, the user can broadcast music, pre-recorded and/or live announcements to one, multiple or all zones as needed. This allows users to schedule an ideal mix of announcements, commercials and background music throughout the day, week and year, in addition to making live announcements in response to specific situations when required. Content can be managed centrally, from headquarters, or individual sites.
Quick to install and easy to use
AXIS Audio Manager can connect to all IP audio devices via a LAN/WAN network automatically. Users can control their entire network audio system using a computer, tablet or phone, to schedule pre-recorded tracks, control audio volume and monitor device operation. The system offers 24/7 status overview of all connected devices allowing faults to be identified instantly.
AXIS Audio Manager provides a single point of management across the entire range of Axis network audio devices, which includes:
- AXIS Network Speakers: complete, high-quality audio systems in a single unit, allowing for live and scheduled announcements and background music
- AXIS Network Horn Speakers: outdoor-ready, clear and simple horn speaker to form part of a complete surveillance solution
- AXIS 2N SIP Mic: an all-in-one network microphone console with configurable buttons that turns network speakers into a full public-address system
- AXIS Network Audio Bridge: connecting and combining analog and network audio to broadcast announcement and music from any source, protecting existing investments
AXIS Audio Manager C7050 Server will be available in June 2018 through Axis’ standard distribution channels at the suggested retail price of $2995.
