The vast majority of Axcient partners now work with a named partner success manager. On average, success managers support about 200 MSPs each. Approximately 100 of Axcient’s biggest partners, as measured by sales, are supported by a strategic account manager instead, while the vendor’s lowest revenue generators have access to a rotating team of success managers rather than a specific individual.
Axcient and the former eFolder Inc. merged in July 2017. Known as eFolder/Axcient for most of the time since then, the company rebranded itself as simply Axcient last month.
Other elements of the vendor’s campaign to woo MSPs include the introduction of a revamped partner portal offering “single pane of glass” management of Axcient’s entire product line and construction of a new data center in Salt Lake City. Set to open early next year, that facility is designed to improve system performance. In all, Axcient has invested $5 million in tools and infrastructure improvements this year.
