AvePoint Launches First Office 365 Item Restore Bot For End Users

AvePoint has announced the general availability of AVA, (AvePoint Virtual Assistant) the industry’s first bot developed to locate and restore Office 365 content for end users, offered as a freemium app in the Microsoft Teams Store.

When Office 365 users accidentally delete—or can’t locate—files, documents, or emails, they won’t need to call IT. Instead, they can chat directly with AVA in Microsoft Teams. She will automatically perform a search based on the user’s permissions in Exchange, Outlook, and OneDrive’s recycle bin to restore the requested item (even if it’s out of place).

When integrated with AvePoint’s Cloud Backup for Office 365 solution she can also find content that is no longer retained by Office 365’s native backup capabilities. AvePoint Cloud Backup currently supports more than 6 million Office 365 users across SaaS instances located in all major Microsoft Office 365 and Azure data centers. This includes FedRAMP-certified United States government data centers that back up more than nine petabytes of data on a daily basis.
