ASCII Group Allies With Sandler Partners to Add Telecom, Cloud Services for Members

The joint initiative will help ASCII Group members expand beyond IT services into new and profitable markets at a time when providers of voice and connectivity services are adding network and device management to their offerings. By Rich Freeman

The ASCII Group has launched a new initiative that will give its channel pro members access to telecom and cloud solutions from Sandler Partners.

The joint venture will help MSPs, MSSPs, and solution providers in the ASCII Group community expand beyond their lineup of IT services into new and profitable markets, at a time when providers of voice and connectivity services are increasingly adding network and device management to their offerings.

“We are pleased to be working with Sandler Partners and recognize the emerging synergies between the telecom and IT industries,” said Alan Weinberger, The ASCII Group’s chairman and CEO, in a press statement. “We are delighted to present another benefit to members of the ASCII community that will yield additional revenue opportunities for their businesses.”

Sandler Partners delivers services from over 200 telecom, cloud, and data providers through more than 8,000 agents. Key product categories in its catalog include network and voice, unified communications, cybersecurity, mobility, the Internet of Things, and SD-WAN.

Other recent additions to ASCII’s membership benefits list, which spans from discounts on software, hardware, business insurance, and credit card processing to marketing programs and business tools, include access to a new peer group program called ASCII Spark and the ability to purchase IT equipment, office products, and other items through Amazon Business, a version of Amazon’s online marketplace that caters to commercial buyers.
