Supermicro, a server technology provider, has integrated its systems with the new 16-core AMD Opteron 6200 Series processor, taking High Performance Computing (HPC) to a new level. Supermicro will be displaying its new HPC integrated platforms at SC11 in Booth #2918.
At SC11, attendees can expect to see Supermicro’s A SuperBlade series with the quad AMD Opteron 6200 Series processor-based blade and TwinBlade with 20 DP nodes per 7U SuperBlade enclosure. Both SuperBlades deliver 3,840 cores per 42U SuperRack and provide fast interconnect speeds with onboard Mellanox InfiniBand or optional 10GbE networking technology.
Supermicro will also be displaying various data center systems, such as its 2U A Server and the four-node 2UTwin^2. Attendees can expect to see a number of A servers and motherboards featuring single, dual, and quad configurations supporting the Bulldozer architecture-based AMD Opteron processors. Visit the AMD Booth (#823) to see live Opteron 6200 Series processor-based system demos.
