Distributor Tech Data Corp. has expanded its accessTD mobile platform, which provides resellers with mobile access to most of the functionality of techdata.com, including product searches, pricing and availability information, order tracking, and quoting.
Building on Tech Data’s existing applications for Apple iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad released last year, a new application for Android and a mobile platform for Windows Phone and Blackberry devices is now available for users in the United States and Canada. †

accessTD enables resellers to instantly check Tech Data product pricing or availability, as well as create quotes for customers via email featuring their own mark-up and company logos. Additionally, carts created on techdata.com will now sync with accessTD, enabling resellers to place orders anywhere with immediacy using the application’s simple checkout process.
accessTD is now available in the United States and Canada via free download in the Apple and Android App Stores. accessTD supports Android versions 2.3 and greater and Blackberry versions 9 or greater.
